Meet the Discussion Leader: Shelby Crawford

Favorite Bible Verse:

Deuteronomy 32:10 In a desert land he found him, in a barren and howling waste. He shielded him and cared for him; he guarded him as the apple of his eye, like an eagle that stirs up its nest and hovers over its young, that spreads its wings to catch them and carries them aloft.

When does your group meet and how did your group get together?

Thursdays at 9am. We started small in 2022-2023 and we prayed specifically for our group to either grow or stay the same. God grew our group with a committed lovely team of women that love each other and have become the best of friends.

Most Meaningful @ HOME Experience:

Lunches after our study and  Katie Howard’s homemade bread

Favorite @ HOME Study so far:

Luke :)

What you do outside of @ HOME (family, work, hobbies, etc): I am married to Vernon Crawford and we have a 12 year old daughter, Drue.  I love taking care of my family, spend time with my friends, doing anything that requires sunscreen, and reading.

Favorite Hymn or Praise Song:

Dear God by Cory Asbury

What are your summer plans?:

We will pick up Drue from Camp Mystic in June and at the end of July we will head to Colorado to enjoy some cooler weather.  We will also spend time with our family on the other side of the red river in Oklahoma.

Only thing required is an ocean

The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah

Favorite Fort Worth Weekend Activity?

With our weeks being so busy- my favorite weekend activity is just being home with my family.  Grilling and swimming is my idea of a perfect weekend
