How did you get involved with @HOME Bible Study? I was in the small Bible Study that started at Kathy’s house that grew into @Home.
What has been your favorite study and why? And, or, if you are new, what would you most like to study? Revelation. So full of hope and promises.
What is your “go to” Bible verse, or story from the Bible that inspires you and why? There are so many that I love and claim, but ones that have been my go to in uncertain, scary times have been Isaiah 26:3, 41:10, 49:16
What do you hope to gain through Bible Study, for how do you hope to grow in your relationship with Christ? I love Studying the Bible and meeting with other believers to discuss. My hope and prayer is that God will continue to grow me and that I will be miraculously filled with the fruits of the Spirit.
When, and how, do you make time for Bible Study in your day? On a perfect day, I sit down with my coffee first thing and do that day’s questions and then have my quiet time. I truly believe I have so much more peace on those mornings no matter the circumstances.
How has studying God’s Word impacted your work, social life, or family dynamic? God’s Word is a game changer in social life and relationships and in family dynamics. To be able to claim His promises in social situations or a family situation and leave them with Him changes the dynamics. I’m a HUGE work in progress in this area.
Who would you most like to meet from the Bible and what question(s) would you ask them? Paul. I would want to know about his encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus. I would ask him how he was able to not look back or get caught up thinking he couldn’t be forgiven or that he wasn’t worthy.
What has brought you joy this past week? Time spent with my three youngest grandchildren at the beach.
What are you reading or watching right now? OR your favorite book/TV show/movie? Watching The Terminal List. Favorite book is Small Great Things
What does a typical day in your life look like? Exercise, errands, cooking and a bonus is lunch with my girls and seeing my babies!
What is your favorite way to spend your free time? With my family!!
Favorite FTW restaurant, and what do you order? Clay Pigeon, I love the Bone Marrow.
Favorite place to vacation/spend time in the summer? Sea Island, GA
What qualities do you look for in a friend? Honesty, openness, and confidentiality.
